Porn
It appears you can't be a porn star and a police officer at the same time.
The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco gave the bad news to Ronald Dible, who was fired by the police department in Chandler, Arizona.
Dible was dumped in 2002 when police brass found out Dible and his wife operated a porn website in which they were seen having sex.
The federal appeals court ruled that while Dible has a First Amendment right to run a sex-oriented business, he doesn't have a constitutional right to serve as a police officer at the same time.
The court called Dible's Internet activities, quote, "sleazy" and "simply vulgar and indecent." It also said that Dible's activities undermined public respect for himself and his fellow police officers.
