Porn
If animal rights group PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has been anything in its history, it is provocative. So the group’s latest bid to attract attention should come as no surprise. PETA has turned to porn.
PETA on Thursday said porn star Jenna Jameson — author of “How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale — will appear in a new advertising campaign dressed in a black wig and pleather (synthetic leather) bikini. The message of the campaign: “Pleather Yourself”
The new ads will be unveiled on March 10, but PETA distributed a media advisory about the campaign on Thursday. In it, Jameson is quoted as saying “It is OK to be an animal in bed, but not at the expense of real animals…I suggest if people want to have a better time in the bedroom — then please explore the pleather side.”
