BUNGLING porn-thieves accidentally broke into a Thai restaurant before realising their mistake and moved onto the same porn-shop they unsuccessfully robbed last year.

Detective Sen-Constable Leonard told the newspaper that it was believed that the same thieves who stole plenty of porn DVD cases – but no discs – in August last year were responsible for the latest break-ins.

“It is remarkably similar to what happened in August… but this time they have landed in the wrong shop,” Sen-Constable Leonard said.

He said once the thieves realised they were surrounded by tables and chairs and not hardcore porn and vibrators, they then broke into the neighbouring porn store.

“Last time they only got away with the (DVD) covers so they would have had to get their cheap thrills from the pictures on the back.

“But this time they have broken into the storeroom and stolen some porn DVDs.

“We haven’t got a value on what has been stolen at this stage, but it appears the booty was for their own entertainment.”
